Promises that are made by New Members When Joining Crossroads Presbyterian Church

• Admit to being a sinner — with Jesus as your Lord and Saviour

• Support of the church through:

  • Dependable worship attendance with extraordinary effort to be present the first Sunday of each month for the Lord’s Supper
     

  • Percentage giving (1% to a tithe [10%] over and above are offerings)
     

  • Invite visitors as often as possible

   

• Regular Bible Study in Sunday School — Wednesday Night Studies —   daily devotions at home
   

• Committed prayer life — especially with children
   

• Service through volunteering: teaching, music, member of one of the six committees, Presbytery
   

• Awareness of the responsibility as part of the Body of Christ
