WHERE TO GO FOR HELP AND WHO TO ASK FOR IT . . .

The session is divided into six committees. Each elder is the moderator of a specific committee that is composed of members from the congregation.

The committees and the specialties of the elder moderators are:

Education — Rick Spratt
Oversees all Sunday School and educational materials taught
Sponsors Wednesday Night Studies and FFFF—
Recruits teachers and substitutes
Youth Director and youth activities — Sunday morning breakfasts

Outreach — Flo Vance & Lacia Stogsdill
Contacts all CRPC visitors
Places advertisements in local newspapers
Encourages the congregation to invite visitors
Responsible for web-site
Checks attendance pads
Gives literature to guests

Ministries — Flo Vance and Lacia Stogsdill
The benevolent outreach of the church
Involves Presbyterian causes with much emphasis on local needs

Property — Doug Brummett
Anything from changing light bulbs to designing a new educational building, Insurance, Janitorial services

Special Activities — Rick Chron
The fellowship arm of the congregation dinners, parties, showers, recreation, Wednesday Night Studies, sports, barbeques and much more

Worship — Marianne Brummett
Plans each worship service — including musicians, choirs, pulpit supply, decorations, communion, acolytes, ushers and worship participants/leaders
Cares for piano and organ and additions to sanctuary furniture

Clerk — Karla Jones
Carefully keeps and supervises all records of session and congregational meetings
History of the church
Files annual reports
Attends minutes
Reviews baptism and new member certificates
Communicates regularly with elders
