Angel Food Ministries Now at CRPC!

The Crossroads Presbyterian Church congregation has joined thousands of other congregations across the country in becoming a distribution site for Angel Food Ministries.

Angel Food Ministries is a non-profit, non-denominational organization, which began in 1994 as a small outreach ministry serving a rural community in Georgia and uses bulk buying power to purchase food at significantly reduced rates for anyone who wishes to participate.

The goal was to help neighbors who needed a hand up in a tough economic time. Today, Angel Food Ministries can be found in over 3,200 communities in 35 states and helps feed over 500,000 families a month.

A single box of food costing $30.00 will feed approximately one person for a month or a family of four for a week. In addition, there are "special" orders of meat products are available in orders of at least 1 box of food.

Angel Food Ministries orders are taken on the FIRST FRIDAY of each month at the Blue Ridge Community Center from 9:00 to 10:30 A.M. and on the FIRST SATURDAY of each month at the Crossroads Presbyterian Church from 10:00 to 11:30 A.M.

We are now taking orders for the June 2010 Angel Food Ministries delivery which will be on or around Saturday, June 26^th.

Orders for the June 26^th delivery must be received by Sunday, June 13^th.

Please be sure to bring a large enough box (or boxes) to place your order(s) in. Pick-up dates and places will be listed on the Angel Food Ministries Order Blanks. Payment in cash or Lone Star Cards at the time of order are accepted. Personal Checks are NO LONGER ACCEPTED as payment.

Orders that are NOT picked up by the end of pick-up time will be DONATED since we do not have ample storage facilities.
